To be honest, it does seem like he was a bit of a panic buy, and I bet LVG wouldn't have had him on his summer shopping list if he was still at Everton and certainly not at £27 million. But since he came back, he seems a totally different player to last season. Even without that belting goal he scored at West Brom, he seems to have extra energy, and certainly more confidence. Dont know whether the rumours in the summer were true, that van Gaal was ready to offload him. After last season, it seemed his time at Old Trafford was up. But since he came back, it's starting to look like he might have a future. Keep it up son.
